About Civil and Dam Safety
We work with dam safety management in Statkraft, which has a broad dam portfolio with over 500 dams spread across 10 different countries. Continuous development of our dam safety management strategies and methods based on new knowledge and technological solutions from national and international "state of the art" is an important element of our work. Examples of Tasks You Might Work On
Depending on the needs of the department and your interests, you may work on:
* Evaluating possibilities for implementation of AI (Artificial intelligence) in dam safety management
* Identify and carry out concrete evaluations to test implementation of AI as part of active dam safety management
* Support with other relevant ongoing projects related to dam safety works
Tasks will be tailored to ensure you work on areas that excite and engage you the most

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for students who:
* Are passionate about renewable energy and sustainable solutions
* Have strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to work
* Are motivated, proactive, and enjoy working in teams
* Are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree
The intention of the summer project work is to evaluate implementation of AI in dam safety and hence requires some competence in programming, machine learning algorithms, neural networks and fundamentals of AI technology. Students who have some background in these topics and/or are passionate about working on these aspects are encouraged to apply irrespective of study discipline
