About the team

You will join the "Exploratory Analytical Chemistry Laboratory" team. Located in Neuchâtel (Switzerland), the team is specialized in special analysis requests. Using a variety of analytical techniques, the objective of the group is to provide scientific support to our internal customers.

Who we're looking for

* Currently studying for your master's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related field.
* Knowledge in advance analytical technologies such as GC hyphened with MS/MS or TOF.
* Awareness on laboratory good practices.
* Well organized and flexible to accommodate changes in planning.
* Communicative, results driven and willing to learn on the fly.
* Very good command in English and/or French.

Roles & Objectives

As a student, you will contribute to the development of an analytical method. To do so, you will perform the following tasks:

* Perform analytical work for method development, in accordance with laboratory good practices.
* Conduct and implement an analytical setup for new method adaptation and/or development
* Generate, collect, and compile data. Ensure quality and reliability of the measurements.
* Write technical procedures.
* Perform all duties in accordance with regulations, EHS procedures, PMI policies and procedures.
* Produce an internship report as well as an oral presentation.
