What the role is

As a Process Control Trainee, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and deployment of next-generation semiconductor research & development capabilities by supporting new tool startup activities within our engineering team. You will be part of a dynamic environment where innovation, precision, and collaboration drive the successful integration of cutting-edge equipment into high-performance fabrication workflows.

Through this role, you will gain hands-on experience in tool qualification, process optimization, and equipment troubleshooting. You will also develop key competencies in statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and cross-functional coordination with equipment vendors, R&D engineers, and operations teams.

This traineeship will equip you with a strong foundation in semiconductor process technologies, equipment engineering, and the critical startup methodologies that enable scalable, reliable, and efficient manufacturing solutions.

What will you be working on

Job Responsibilities

* Perform tool acceptance testing and ensure compliance with specifications.
* Develop and execute qualification protocols.
* Define and optimize process parameters for new tools.
* Conduct experiments to validate process stability and repeatability.
* Integrate new tools into existing process flows.
* Resolve process-related issues.
* Collaborate with equipment and maintenance teams to address tool performance problems.
* Create and maintain SOPs, process specs, and engineering change notices.
* Document tool setup procedures and process recipes.
* Ensure all new tools meet environmental, health, and safety standards.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.

What we are looking for

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
* Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fab, assembly, and test operations.
* Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and FMEA methodologies.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
