Context
Works in EHS team of Manufacturing, CS or CRE. Main activities occur in the cleanroom (ASML or customer) or at the facilities. Interfaces mainly with team lead and employees on the workfloor. Team member typically reporting to a manager, .
Performs routine assignments or specific tasks focused on maintaining compliance with government environmental and safety regulations and providing technical support to problem resolution. Applies technical knowledge following established procedures and/or standard practices to perform basic analyses.
Applies standard techniques to provide solutions to problems involving a limited number of variables. Is capable to choose the right approach for the assigned tasks.
Requirements
Experienced EHS technician. Requires knowledge of EHS processes and procedures acquired through advanced vocational education in relevant area. Ability to work in a dynamic practical environment.
Hands-on mentality.
Collaborates in a positive and efficient manner.
Communicates effectively to employees and other stakeholders; stays friendly at all times; provides constructive feedback and listens carefully to any feedback given.
Drives results to ensure EHS improvements at the workfloor.
Responsibilities
Key EHS processes (e.g. Incident Management, Compliance Management, JSA/Risk Management, Inspections/ Audits, Sustainability Reporting)
Executes existing EHS processes and ensures employees work in line with safety requirements in (COACH) prodecures.
Technical competence areas (e.g. Laser Safety, Electrical Safety, Radiation, Hazardous Materials, Ergonomics, Waste, Energy, CO2 emissions, Life Cycle Assessments)
Uses technical competence in a practical working environment.
Enhance EHS culture & communication
Supports the improvement of the EHS culture at the work floor.
Executes practical EHS awareness campaigns.
Introduction to the Internship in CS EHS team
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) operations through assisting with general administrative and operational tasks. Interns will become familiar with daily EHS activities, including document management related to work areas and contractor coordination, optimization of the EHS website, and support for site EHS operations.
Role and responsibilities
* Assist with daily site EHS operations
* Support administrative and documentation tasks related to EHS work areas and contractor/coordination organizations
* Help optimize and maintain EHS-related web content
* Provide general support for EHS initiatives and activities at the site
Education and experience
* Bachelor's degree or above
* Preferred majors: Information Management, Computer Science, or related fields
Skills
* Basic proficiency in computer and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
* Experience or background in Power BI and/or AI-related technologies is a plus
