Activities

Position Context

Within TotalEnergies' Refining & Chemicals branch, the Polymers Business Unit develops innovative solutions to reduce the environmental footprint of plastics, with the ambition to reach 30% circular and bio-based polymers by 2030.

The position is part of the Packaging team, which focuses on developing and promoting polymer solutions for packaging applications (food packaging, caps, bottles, films, etc.), with a strong emphasis on sustainability.

Based in Brussels, the team operates at the interface between Sales, Technical, R&D teams and external stakeholders, contributing to the development of sustainable packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Market Development Coordinator - Sustainable Solutions, you will:

* Contribute to market analysis and monitoring (demand, trends, competition, pricing, etc.)
* Coordinate customer development projects for recycled polymer grades, in collaboration with sales, technical and R&D teams
* Support the promotion of sustainable solutions both internally and externally (clients, brand owners, consultants, etc.)
* Participate in the drafting of internal articles and press releases in collaboration with the Communication department

Location and Environment

* Based in Brussels, Belgium, in a dynamic and international environment
* Close collaboration with multiple stakeholders
* Occasional travel within Belgium (Feluy R&D center) and Europe

Candidate Profile

Education

* Master's degree in Engineering, with a specialization in business, marketing or economics
* Alternatively, a Master's degree in Economics/Business with a strong interest in technical and industrial topics

Technical & Industry Knowledge

* Interest in polymers, materials and industrial processes
* Understanding of sustainability topics such as recycling (mechanical or chemical) and circular economy
* Ability to connect technical concepts with market applications

Analytical & Business Skills

* Strong capabilities in market analysis, data consolidation and business intelligence
* Ability to interpret complex datasets (market trends, pricing, demand) and support decision-making

Digital & IT Skills

* Advanced proficiency in Excel (data structuring, analysis) and PowerPoint (clear business presentations)
* Knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a plus

Languages

* French: B2/C1 level
* English: B2/C1 level
* An additional language is a plus in an international environment
