Job summary

What you will be responsible for

QA Automation Engineer will work closely with Automation Lead on Automation Test Strategies for various types of products. The Automation Engineer will work closely with BAs, QAs and Dev teams to derive the automation requirements.
- Work closely with Automation Lead to develop and own effective automated test suites for a number of products including API (as main priority), Web and Standalone applications.
- Advise R&D teams on how to automate their own tests
- Create Test Scenarios in BDD and transform in to Automation Tests.
- Automation Script Development & Review. Test Data Management - Maintain existing JAVA framework by feature improvements
- Maintain existing Full Regression Packs with the help of QA team, BA team & Dev team
- Help in troubleshooting bugs
- Delivery & Status Reporting
- Highlight Project issue and risk escalation
- Configuration management

· Language: Java / Java Script / VB Script (preferred) experience · Preferred Java Libraries: Selenium, Rest Assured, Poi, MQ, Database etc.
· Previous experience in building and setting up Automation frameworks
· Experience in Full stack environment including - Test, Code, Build, Environment, Artifactory and Defect Management.
· Experience in API, Web application and Standalone application Test Automation.
· Experience in Selenium Web-driver, Selenium Grid, Java competencies and (Preferable) other Test Automation tools like Test Complete (Smartbear)
