About the Advisory & Consulting Team

About the Technology & Digital Consulting team
This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and exposure in order to build a career within Systems and Organisation Controls SOC as part of the Technology and Digital department. At Forvis Mazars, you will have the unique opportunity to work on a wide range of technology areas, with a focus on Risk and Assurance. As a Consultant within the national team you will be responsible for delivering 3rd party assurance (SOC) work to a range of clients nationally and internationally. Our broad range of clients, including those in FTSE 350, allow you to gain experience across a range of sectors including:
* Financial Services, Banking, Insurance and Investment
* Corporates/Private Sector/Large & Listed
* Public Sector
* Retail and Consumer products organisations
You will have the opportunity to gain experience in the following range of areas:

You will also be responsible for the following:
* Executing day to day 3rd party assurance (SOC) work and reviews; including contributing across the entire delivery lifecycle, from planning through to reporting
* Supporting the SOC leadership to manage specific streams of work and staff in the work stream.
* Testing design and operating effectiveness of controls
* Initial drafting of client deliverables including reports
* Client management; acting as a point of contact for both the service leads and the client, ensuring all are kept fully informed of any issues arising and the progress of the work
* Delivering work to the highest technical standards including ensuring work is conducted in line with Forvis Mazars Quality standards
* Ensuring all work is undertaken to budget and meets client KPI
* Building and developing long term relationships with senior stakeholders across our client organisations as well as within Forvis Mazars
* Maintaining control and stability under pressure whilst recognising the deadline or urgency to be dealt with
* Clearly understanding the wider service line capabilities of the department and the wider firm and how these may benefit your clients

* On track or have obtained A-levels or equivalent qualifications. Strong academic performance is important; however, we understand that things don't always go to plan.
