Summer Internship: Accounting Intern (Sao Paulo, Brazil)

Education Required:
* Bachelor's degree Accounting (Third or final-year student).

General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship):
The Accounting Intern - Latin America will support BeOne Medicines' regional accounting operations, partnering with internal stakeholders and in-country service providers to ensure accurate, timely and compliant accounting across multiple Latin American countries, in alignment with BeOne's global policies and ways of working.

Essential Functions of the Internship:
* Support month-end close and reporting activities.
* Prepare and maintain account reconciliations.
* Assist with statutory and management reporting for LATAM entities.
* Monitor and support key internal accounting metrics, such as close cycle time, reconciliation aging, and audit findings.
* Support internal controls and audit requests.
* Support continuous improvement and process documentation initiatives
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support Associate Manager on Accounting projects

Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Works under close supervision of regional accounting leadership and collaborates with in-country service providers.

Computer Skills:
* Strong Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas, lookups), Word and PowerPoint.
* Desirable ERP systems knowledge (SAP or equivalent preferred).
