Job Opportunity:

Our Guelph facility is hiring a Safety/Quality Intern for the term May - August, to support the facility with safety and quality improvements by participating in projects and initiates.

The Safety/Quality Intern will support the department Managers as they work to ensure the facility is compliant with regulations. The candidate will be exposed to Safety and Quality Systems within the manufacturing environment.

To be considered for this position, candidates must be enrolled in post-secondary education.

What you need to succeed:

· Excellent communication, ownership, interpersonal and time management skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships; and a team player

· Ability to allocate one's time effectively, ability to prioritize workload; ability to work at a detailed level

· Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems

· Intermediate to advance skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs
