About the Role
As a Risk Intern at AIA Re, you will work closely with our risk management team to support critical risk assessment, modeling, and reporting activities. This 6-month internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the reinsurance industry and exposure to various aspects of enterprise risk management.
Key Responsibilities: *Assist in the collection, analysis, and management of reinsurance exposure data from ceding business unit *Help develop and maintain risk system (eGRC) to assess the impact of various risk factors on the AIA Re's operation *Support the preparation of risk reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and other stakeholders *Participate in risk committee meetings and contribute to discussions on emerging risks and mitigation strategies *Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in reinsurance risk management *Provide general support to the risk management team as needed, including ad-hoc data analysis and project coordination Job Requirements: *University graduate or undergraduate in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance orFinance with strong mathematics background *Have a strong command of English and Chinese (reading and writing) *Demonstrate abilities to problem solve and work independently *Solid analytical skills and business sense *Possess the requisite self-confidence required to raise issues and ask questions of peers, supervisors, and otheremployees *Strong analytical and organisational skills *Proficient in Microsoft Office If you are interested in this programme, please contact your university representative.
