Position summary
* Vacancy: Summer Intern; Engineer, Energy Efficiency & Sustainability
* Duration: Fixed-term for summer 2026 (e.g. May - August/September 2026)
* Place: RCG Turku site office (on-site working only, no remote working)

General requirements
* Master's degree student in energy technology (or equivalent)
* At least a third-year student
* Motivation to do and learn

Work duties
* Conducting techno-economic feasibility studies for decarbonizing future cruise ships
* Data-analytics for identifying new technological development initiatives
* Creating and developing dynamic energy/emissions models and simulations for cruise ships (digital twin)
* Participating development collaboration with technology vendors
* Supporting and learning the inspections of a newbuild cruise ship under construction
