Designers Direct is in the process of launching a new and global innovative fashion community platform which aims to improve the visibility of the fashion industry. We are headquartered in Paris, France, and endorsed by the Norwegian Statefund for Innovation.
Our goal is to help both established and emerging fashion designers promote their artistic vision and expand their global reach, while providing a forum for clients to understand the context of the creations and helping them style outfits in accordance with their own taste and preferences.

We are seeking highly motivated Fashion Management interns with a strong passion for the fashion industry and a keen interest in global market trends. This internship offers hands-on exposure to fashion merchandising, designer relations, and digital commerce within an international start-up environment.
As an intern, you will play an active role in onboarding and listing designers' collections within our vendor panel. You will collaborate closely with designers to support the selection and optimization of product images, descriptions, and storytelling, ensuring their creations are presented effectively to an international customer base. This role requires both creative sensitivity and analytical thinking to translate artistic vision into commercially compelling content.
Throughout the internship, you will work directly with the Designers Direct management team, contributing to strategic decisions and operational execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting where initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
Key areas of involvement include:
* Merchandising and listing designers' products within our vendor management system
* Direct collaboration with fashion designers to curate collections and communicate brand narratives
* Assisting in the selection and refinement of product imagery and copy for global audiences
* Supporting e-commerce logistics planning and product organization
* Contributing to SEO strategy and digital marketing initiatives
* Assisting with website content updates and platform enhancements
* Creating and curating content for social media channels
* Supporting the launch, monitoring, and optimization of advertising campaigns

Profil recherché
* Education from a fashion oriented management program
* Prior intern experience in either fashion management, PR, e-commerce merchandising, warehousing and/or logistics
* A strong personal interest in the global fashion industry, emerging talents and trends
* Strong work ethics, consistent and reliable attitude
* International background preferred
* Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of another language is a plus
* Availability to start June/July 2026
Practical Information
The internship is based in Paris, France. The duration is 2 months and is non-remunerated. The possibility of continued collaboration beyond this period will be assessed.
Only applicants legally eligible to work in France and capable of providing a "convention de stage" for a 2-month period will be considered.
