SOC Design for Test - Design Verification Intern

In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a System-on-Chip design effort collaborating with all fields, with a critical impact on getting functional products to millions of customers quickly.
As an intern on the Design for Test-Design Verification (DFT-DV) Team, you will assist with verifying and testing high quality IP to meet functionality, quality, performance and feature goals. Responsibilities include especially, but are not limited to: - Learn and work on the complete DFT-DV solutions in a chip design by working with chip DFT-DV team to detail IP specifications, and define the SoC test interface. - Verify and define tests as well as generate test vectors, for Analog and Mixed Signal IP's. - Work with the Analog Mixed Signal design team and SoC design team to verify proper integration, controllability and testability of such IP's. This position can be carried out as a full-time internship or a part-time working student role. Students available for 9-12 months are preferred.
Currently enrolled in your penultimate year of studies in a CE, EE, or related field (Bachelor's, Master's or PhD) This position can be carried out as a full-time internship or a part-time working student role English language fluency is required (written and verbal) Strong analytical and problem solving skills Coursework focusing on Computer Architecture and digital design techniques Phenomenal interpersonal skills, and like the rest of us here at Apple, you love working in an open and multi-cultural environment
Available for 9-12 months Scripting and programming knowledge with one or more of the following: Python, Perl, TCL - an advantage
