Work environment
Shape the future of electric mobility together with us! In the "Thermal Management Development" department, we work on the development of innovative components for the refrigeration and cooling circuits of modern electric vehicles. Look forward to hands-on insights into hardware development, involvement in exciting projects, and collaboration within a committed and collegial team. The internship in Salzgitter is planned for a minimum duration of four months and can optionally be combined with a thesis project.
Possible tasks within this role
*
Modeling the refrigeration cycle using MATLAB Simulink/Simscape
*
Validating the model with real vehicle data
*
Equipping a test vehicle with measurement technology, a PC, and a display
*
Visualizing vehicle data in the test vehicle using dSPACE ControlDesk
*
Implementing the refrigeration cycle model on a dSPACE AutoBox
Qualification requirements
*
Students of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable fields of study from the 5th bachelor semester onward (master's studies preferred)
*
Good to very good academic performance
*
Knowledge of thermodynamics preferred
*
Experience with MATLAB Simulink/Simscape, dSPACE ControlDesk, and Vector CANoe is an advantage
*
Independent and structured way of working, strong teamwork and communication skills
*
German & English language level B2
