Student in Software Analytics and Data Engineering
The team collect telemetry data from Siemens software products. By extracting insights from this data, managers are enabled to make data-driven decisions, directly influencing the correct and strategic direction of product development.
To support this, we have designed and implemented a data engineering solution on the Snowflake platform, where we collect, structure, and manage the data, and make it accessible to decision-makers so they can independently analyze and interpret the information.
You'll make an impact by:
* Develop and maintain data pipelines in Snowflake using dbt.
* Handling telemetry data from other software (load data, separate date by product, organize data, share data)
* Monitor functionalities and data correctness
* Work in team, embrace change to overcome challenges, share knowledge among teams, synchronize with an international community
* Proactive mindset regarding the product functionality - thinking together
* Support for customers
Your success is grounded in:
* Active university student status - Studies in Computer Science or related technical fields 
* Interest in Data Bases and Big Data Handling
* Advanced knowledge in SQL
* Python programming knowledge
* Ability to work as a member of a team and independently, being flexible
* Analytical thinking, proactivity, precise work
* Intention of learning new technologies
* Ability to deliver clear and engaging presentations
* Fluent English language skills

* Experience with agile development methodology
* Experience in the field of industrial automation
* Experience in data engineering and with Parquet file format
* Know-how in Snowflake or dbt
