Alternative Risk Transfer Intern

Job Description:

For the Central Team of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C), we are looking for an ART & Parametric Intern to join our ART & Parametric department. In this role, you will support the team with analytical tasks, underwriting activities, and project management across our three core verticals: Parametrics, Structured Insurance, and Capital Solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring the effective planning and execution of strategic initiatives within the Alternative Risk Transfer space, contributing to innovative risk management solutions for our global clients.

Main responsibilities:
* Supporting Strategic Project Execution: assisting the project manager in coordinating and tracking the progress of key strategic initiatives, including project planning, stakeholder communication, and milestone reporting
* Presentation and Documentation: preparing high-quality presentations, reports, and internal documentation to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
* Market and Data Research: conducting research on ART trends, market developments, and competitor strategies to support business case development and strategic decision-making
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: working closely with underwriting, actuarial, finance, and legal teams to gather inputs and ensure alignment across departments on project deliverables
* Process, Improvement and Innovation: identifying opportunities to streamline internal processes, enhance project workflows, and contributing ideas to improve the efficiency and impact of the ART & Parametrics unit

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Currently enrolled or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's program in any field (studies in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Risk Management or Actuarial Sciences are a plus, but not a requirement)
* Project Management Skills: ability to support project coordination and strategic initiatives, with a proactive and organized approach to managing tasks and timelines
* Analytical and Research Skills: ability to analyze complex information, conduct structured research, and synthesize insights clearly and concisely
* Proactive and "Can-Do" Attitude: self-starter with a strong mindset, eager to take initiative, solve problems, and contribute to team success in a dynamic environment
* Communication and Presentation: ability to convey information by creating compelling presentations
* IT Proficiency: microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
* Language skills: fluency in English, any additional language is a plus (Italian included)

Nice to have:
* Previous experience in a multi-cultural and international environment is a plus
* Previous project or short internship experiences are a plus
