Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team at Eli Lilly Asia Pacific SSC Sdn Bhd. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in various financial operations within a leading global pharmaceutical company. You will support key financial processes and contribute to the efficiency of our Asia Pacific shared service center.

Job Responsibilities
* Assist with data entry and reconciliation of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and analyses for internal stakeholders.
* Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
* Collaborate with various finance teams (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger) to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
* Conduct basic financial research and analysis to support decision-making.
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Assist with ad-hoc projects and assignments as required by the finance department.
* Learn and apply internal control procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Job Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) & Power BI
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive and eager to learn about financial operations within a multinational corporation.
* Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus but not required.

* Able to work on shift hours 2 pm to 11 pm and required to work on Public Holidays
