Job Summary
As a Trainee Maintenance at Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV, you will support the maintenance team in ensuring the optimal functioning of production machinery and equipment. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience and training in various maintenance tasks to develop your skills in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities
* Assist experienced technicians in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
* Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions under supervision.
* Support the repair and replacement of faulty components, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
* Participate in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
* Document maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time taken.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with 5S principles.
* Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
* Continuously learn and develop technical skills through on-the-job training and company-provided resources.
* Collaborate effectively with production staff and other maintenance team members.

Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in a related field (e.g., industrial maintenance, electromechanics, mechatronics) is a strong plus.
* Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
* Eagerness to learn and develop practical skills in a manufacturing setting.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Basic computer literacy.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and potentially shifts as required.
* Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (even if informal) is a plus but not required.
