Job Description:

Job Description & SummaryAt PwC, we focus on nurturing and developing individuals across our entry level careers programmes, providing them with opportunities to start their professional journey. We offer various entry-level positions and programmes for individuals to gain valuable experience and grow their skills.

As an intern at PwC, you will get hands-on experience and exposure to various industries, allowing you to develop your skills and gain valuable insights into the world of professional services. In your internship, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real client projects.

PwC's Geopolitical Services Desk (GPS Desk) is opening a position for a motivated Research Intern to support our team on research-driven projects at the intersection of geopolitics and strategy/risk. The internship focuses on high-quality desk research, analytical thinking, and the synthesis of complex political, economic, and regulatory developments into clear, well-structured analyses and presentations. The ultimate goal is to create seminal insights on geopolitics from a business perspective. The intern will work with short lines to consultants and assignments that inform senior corporate decision-makers, as such the work may include (pending chosen subject) contributing to briefings, slide decks, and internal knowledge products with a strong emphasis on clarity, structure, and analytical rigour.

The Research Intern will collaborate closely with our Creating Insights Team, allowing you to be positioned between the geopolitics practice and the Chief Economist's office, and between PwC research and client facing departments, accordingly. The team's research has a strong economic safety and geopolitical lens. Your research would focus on questions such as how geopolitics can be embedded in an organisation's risk management and decision-making frameworks; when geopolitical developments constitute an operational risk versus a strategic risk; or how executive responsibility and oversight should be organised when dealing with geopolitical uncertainty. The intern will carry out research on these themes, helping to translate geopolitical dynamics into concrete implications for strategy, governance, and executive decision-making in an increasingly complex global environment.
