Software Engineering Intern

Job Description:

This is a full-time paid summer internship position starting on 20th July and running until the end of September.
The application deadline is 19th June.
Summary
The Software Engineer Intern is responsible for building new and improvement of existing software solutions offered to our customers as a service.
Responsibilities
*Participate in the entire software development cycle: design, development, testing, and deployment
*Design efficient, highly available and scalable technical solutions for business requirements
*Contribute to code base by producing clean and reusable source code, leveraging OOP
*Write unit tests and technical documentation
*Participate in code reviews to help increase the quality of our products
*Stay up to date with coding standards and relevant technology development

Essential Requirements
*Software development experience with OO languages (Python, C#, Java, C++, etc.)
*Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns and common algorithms.
*Relational databases knowledge (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
*Computer Science student/degree and/or equivalent work experience
*Familiarity with Linux platform, Git and REST API
