JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role reports to the Regional Head of Corporate Communications, Southeast Asia & Korea, who is based in Singapore.

Internal communications:

* Working together with cross-functional colleagues across the business to support employee engagement strategies including implement energizing Employee engagement activities

* Roving reporter to develop stories for the One EssilorLuxottica internal platform to keep colleagues apprised of the latest happenings around the region (ie. New retail stores, new brand launches, awards, milestone events) and digital platforms including LinkedIn and corporate newsletters.

* Supporting the roll out of our Group Values to regional colleagues

* Supporting Content Creation for Leadership/ Executives (ie Videos, Memos, LinkedIn post etc);

* Managing corporate brand assets and local templates

External communications:

* Working alongside the Head of Corporate Communications on key corporate announcements and milestones to raise the reputation of EssilorLuxottica in the region. (ie Digital/social media storytelling, media events/ media outreach etc)

* Drafting external materials: media angle, media pitches, key messages, fact sheet, corporate narratives

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

* Copywriting / Editing

* Content Creation / Storytelling

* Employee engagement of our People & Culture

* Media engagement

* Grand Openings / Events

* Media Monitoring

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Currently studying Communications Studies / Mass Communications/ Communication & Information

* Strong writing skills, video editing, Content Creation skills preferred

* Positive and proactive attitude

* Bonus if individual is adept with Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and has creative digital design skills

* Analytical ability, solution-oriented and able to work with Powerpoint and Microsoft Excel

* Strong project management skills/ability to work on multiple topics concurrently under tight deadlines

* Reliable, autonomous, precise, with good organization & communication skills
