Internship - Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description:

Student will involve in Supply Chain Automation and Generative AI integration efforts.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

* Forecast Maintenance: Assist in reviewing and maintaining demand forecasts in planning systems.
* Demand Preparation: Support inventory target setting and demand preparation (netting, disaggregation, prioritization).
* Supply Risk Monitoring: Monitor supply plans and highlight potential risks or delays.
* Global Inventory Maintenance: Inventory maintenance of the internationally storages with the focus to reach/keep the defined stock level; identification of aging or blocked stock and definition and execution of plan for them (selling, scrap, rework).
* Stock Transfers: Stock transfer preparation and execution.
* Capacity Analysis Support: Collaborate with Capacity Planners to analyze bottlenecks and utilization.
* Production Alignment: Support production alignment activities and handle basic Change of Request/Promise (CoR/CoP) processes.
* KPI Dashboard Maintenance: Maintain dashboards for supply chain KPIs using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
* Task Automation: Support automation of repetitive planning tasks using Excel macros, Python, etc.
* Trend & Accuracy Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, improve forecast accuracy, and optimize inventory.
* Visualization & AI Tools: Apply state of the art Visualization and AI tools.
Internship Learning Outcomes:
* Predictive & Statistical Methods: Leverage statistics and predictive methods for preventive measures.
* Planning Competency: Competent in Supply and Demand Planning.
* Storytelling & Collaboration: Excel in data storytelling and inter department collaboration.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Education: Bachelor of Science and Eng with specialised in Computer Science, Gen AI or Artificial Intelligence.
* Excel Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
* BI Tools Exposure: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
* Automation Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, or automation tools is a plus.
* Soft Skills: Good language fluency with strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Bonus Interest: Interest in AI-driven supply chain solutions and digitalization.
* Preferred Intake: Jan 27 - May/June 27.
