Project Title

Building Bridges for Global Research Talent

Project Description

The intern will join a multistakeholder team within AIR (A*STAR Graduate Academy, International Partnership Office and Research Office) to support the planning and execution of national and institutional level research strategies.

This 10 week internship offers hands on exposure to international research collaboration / mobility, and administration of talent fellowships within Singapore's research ecosystem and its global partners.

* International AI Research Camp: Work closely with the project lead to plan and deliver an engaging two week camp for senior undergraduates and PhD students from emerging regions with top local researchers from Singapore universities and A*STAR in the field of artificial intelligence.
* Singapore Southeast Asia Fellowship (S-SEAF): Support the evaluation and award process for a prestigious fellowship scheme under national funding framework.

Requirements

* Students in the field of sciences, engineering, computer science, AI, social sciences, public policy, or related fields.
* Interest in understanding Singapore's research ecosystem and international relations.
* Collaborative and professional; comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders including faculty, students, and partner institutions.
* Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills; Be proactive, adaptable, and detail oriented
