YOUR ROLE
ST is excited to welcome a Hardware and Software Design Intern at our ST office located in Santa Clara, CA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Board development using PCB tools to create schematics and PCBs
* Software development to communicate to hardware (microcontroller and power devices)
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
* Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
* Solid electronics background in:
- Analog, digital and power electronics (up to a few kW)
- Regulators (linear, switching, synchronous, negative, charge pump)
- DAC and ADC
* Firmware/software programming experience (Python, C, C++)
* Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
* Experience with typical lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, waveform generators)
* Reliable self-starter who can work autonomously
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Focused on delivering measurable results
* Sense of urgency and can efficiently manage priorities
At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base hourly rate range for this role is between $32 and $43 USD.
