Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Cloud or DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and support Cardo AI's rapid growth.
Typically you have high sensibility on engineering software development workflow up to productionization. This profile must walk the fine line between providing developers with enough flexibility to be productive and move fast while ensuring aggregate efficiencies to maintain organization-wide throughput as well as manage costs and risk. The ideal candidate should also provide tooling for teams to manage production services in a way that meets the organization's regulatory requirements (if and when needed)

As a Cloud - DevOps Engineer in CardoAI you will:
* Contribute in providing a smooth experience for our developers: let them focus only on core activities simplifying infrastructure-related work (e.g. creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure support etc.)
* Consolidate tech practices across the company alongside the developer teams
* Collaborate with experienced cloud-engineer in order to in influence and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our infrastructure

Your Expertise:
* Cloud Engineering:
* IaaS (Infrastructure As A Service) principles in Cloud Computing Environments
* Good understanding of networking principles in Cloud Environments (AWS preferred)
* Good understanding of Identify and Access Management principles in Cloud Environments
* Experience and knowledge of object storage technologies like Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage
* Experience in deploying relational and non-sql Cloud-based Databases
* Application of previous knowledge in at least one of the three main public cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure)
* Kubernetes administrator and application developer experience (CKA certification level as reference)
* Knowledge of Infrastructure As A Code principles with at least basic knowledge of Terraform or equivalent
* Software Engineering:
* Version control through GIT
* Proficiency in BASH
* Good knowledge of containerization techniques (Docker or equivalent)
* Good knowledge of CI/CD methodologies

Preferred qualifications:
* Cloud Engineering:
* AWS Certified Solutions architect certification or equivalent for other cloud providers
* CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification
* CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification
* Software Engineering:
* GitOps principles and technologies (ARGO CD, Git pipelines, etc.)
