A junior manufacturing technician contributes to the manufacturing of radiopharmaceutical products, at Novartis in Baarle-Nassau, according to the Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Batch Manufacturing Records as laid down in the quality system.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and execute the production process of pharmaceutical products by operating equipment and performing manual tasks.
* Execute chemical processes such as electrolysis and chromatography as part of the production process and responsibilities.
* Prepare chromatography columns for the production process.
* Prepare and execute the recycle line process including target ampoule preparation.
* Clear and clean production line and equipment.
* Identify unexpected incidents, condition or detail and escalate to production shift lead.
* Remedying first line failures.
* Keep up to date with training requirements.
* May act as trainer to train colleagues.

Essential Requirements:
* MBO or HBO degree (Engineering, Biology and Medical Laboratory Research, or Chemical Analyst) or in a similar field, MTS or MLO.
* Knowledge of a pharmaceutical or control production environment.
* Analytical skills that allow you to see what can be improved.
* Attention to detail.
* Open to Shift work

* Experience with production or GMP is an advantage
