Gerente de Impostos Latam (Tax Manager) será responsável pela gestão de impostos diretos e indiretos em toda a região, garantindo governança e conformidade com as obrigações fiscais externas do grupo.
Responsabilidades:
* Garantir que a Haleon opere de acordo com a estratégia tributária global e as exigências fiscais locais, mantendo a reputação corporativa da empresa
* Desenvolver e implementar oportunidades de otimização tributária e mitigação de riscos fiscais na região
* Atuar como parceiro do negócio, assegurando que a área fiscal apoie os objetivos estratégicos e traga eficiência por meio de suporte técnico em projetos
* Entregar informações fiscais precisas e dentro do prazo para reporte global, incluindo previsões de despesas e fluxo de caixa tributário
* Identificar melhorias nos processos de compliance tributário para reduzir riscos financeiros e reputacionais, e garantir sua implementação
* Liderar auditorias fiscais externas, minimizando impactos e gerenciando a relação com autoridades fiscais locais
* Construir relacionamento transparente com as autoridades fiscais nos diferentes países da região
* Apoiar projetos de desenvolvimento de negócios (M&A), garantindo eficiência fiscal e ausência de riscos relevantes em auditorias posteriores
* Apoiar iniciativas de relações governamentais em temas tributários (incentivos fiscais, advocacy, rulings)
* Revisar declarações de impostos indiretos durante o ciclo de fechamento
* Gerenciar e documentar ajustes de transfer pricing
Qualificações e Habilidades:
* Formação em Direito ou Contabilidade
* Forte conhecimento técnico em impostos no Brasil, com experiência regional na LATAM
* Nível avançado de inglês e espanhol
* Excelentes habilidades de comunicação (oral e escrita) e gestão de stakeholders
* Forte habilidade interpessoal, com capacidade de construir relacionamentos com stakeholders sêniores
* Capacidade de resolver problemas complexos de forma independente, contribuindo para decisões estratégicas e liderando ou apoiando projetos
* Capacidade comprovada de gerar insights gerenciais, simplificar temas complexos e explicar conceitos tributários para áreas de negócio
* Perfil questionador, com foco em melhoria contínua e transformação

About the role
The LATAM Tax Manager will manage direct and indirect taxes across the region, ensuring governance and compliance in the region with the group's external tax obligations.
Key responsibilities
* Ensure Haleon operates in a manner which is consistent with both the Group Tax Strategy and local fiscal requirements, through ensuring interaction with external stakeholders are handled in a manner consistent with the group's Global Tax Strategy and values and thereby maintains Haleon's corporate reputation.
* Design and implement tax optimisations and tax risk mitigation opportunities across the region.
* Effective business partner to ensure that tax supports the business objectives and identifies and implements efficiencies by providing real time tax technical input on a variety of projects.
* Delivers accurate and timely tax numbers for Group reporting purposes, forecasting the tax charge and forecasting of cash tax;
* Identify ways to strengthen tax compliance processes to eliminate financial and reputational risk, and oversee implementation of such process improvements.
* Take the lead with running external tax audits to mitigate the impact (financial and reputational) on Haleon. Lead conversations with local tax authorities as necessary. Build open and transparent relationships with the relevant authorities across the different territories in the region.
* Support Business Development proposals to ensure all M, A & D are implemented in a tax-efficient manner with no material tax findings upon subsequent audits.
* Provide support to government affairs in tax matters (tax advocacy and obtaining tax incentives and rulings).
* Review indirect tax returns as part of the closing and control approval process.
* Manage and document transfer price adjustments.
Qualifications and skills
* Qualified lawyer or accountant.
* Tax technical expert in Brazilian taxes with LATAM regional tax experience.
* Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent inter-personal skills - demonstrating experience of building strong business relationships with key senior stakeholders.
* Ability to solve complex problems independently, contribute to decisions within area of expertise, and lead or support projects as a best-practice resource.
* Proven capability to deliver management insight, simplify complexity, and clearly articulate tax concepts to stakeholders including non-tax business partners.
* Focus on challenging the status quo and ability to lead and drive transformational change.
* Demonstrated finance partnering capability, working collaboratively to align financial outcomes with strategic objectives.
