Amazon.com.br is an important and fast-growing business for Amazon. We are looking for an extraordinarily motivated and talented Principal Business Development leader with a strong customer focus and proven track record of building strategic partnerships that drive meaningful business growth. This role will have responsibility for identifying, negotiating, and closing high-impact business opportunities that accelerate Amazon's presence in Brazil, including new category expansion, strategic alliances, and partnership models that unlock long-term value for customers.
Key job responsibilities
You will define and execute the business development strategy for your portfolio, working cross-functionally with senior leadership across Retail, Marketplace, Operations, Finance, and Legal to structure complex deals and bring new business models to market. The ideal candidate combines deep commercial acumen with the ability to influence at the most senior levels, both internally and externally. Functional responsibility spans the full spectrum of business development including market assessment, opportunity identification, deal structuring, negotiation, partner management, and post-launch performance optimization
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
- Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
- Experience interfacing with customers (Enterprise, SMB, and Startups) and ability to convert customer requirements to high level architecture solutions to build on
