Project Controls Specialist

Job Description:

Job Purpose

* Support the Project Manager and/or Project Controls leadership in executing project control activities under supervision, in small-scale projects.
* Work across areas such as Cost Performance, Planning_and_Scheduling, Progress Monitoring, Risk Management, and Reporting.
* Depending on the organization and project, also support Contract Management, Revenue, Cash Flow, Change Management, Quantities Management, Document Control, and Equipment_and_Materials_Control.

Job Description

* Execute activities in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS).
* Support the preparation of Baseline Schedule and Budget, as well as cost and execution performance reports.
* Consolidate and present project status, trends, and risks to the Project Manager.
* Identify and prepare preventive/corrective actions, recovery plans, acceleration plans, and re-baselining.
* Implement Project Control procedures and tools throughout the project lifecycle, including:
* Scope Management
* Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
* Schedule Forecasting
* Progress Measurement
* Productivity Calculations
* Monitor quantities, implement and communicate Earned Value.
* Collaborate with the Contract Manager on contract management, change/variation orders, and trend analysis.
* Support Risk Assessment processes and management of Delay Claims.
* Issue reports internally and externally (clients/partners).
* Support project close-out by preparing feedback reports and Lessons Learned.

You are meant for this job if:

* Degree in Engineering or equivalent diploma.
* Experience in Project Controls or related roles (planning, cost control, information management, contract administration).
* Professional English proficiency.
* Strong skills in MS Excel, Planning Software, and ERP.
* Cross-functional communication skills and experience in multicultural environments.
* Understanding of basic business principles in the O&G Industry.
* Knowledge of Law and contract standards applicable to the offshore O&G sector.
* Solid experience in Commercial Management.
