Maintenance Technician 2 - Shift A1
Perform corrective, breakdown, and preventive maintenance to optimize machinery and production performance by applying strong technical expertise, resolving complex equipment failures, driving structural improvements, staying current with industry advancements, and supporting failure analysis.
Your role:
* Carries out 1st line repairs (curative maintenance) on a limited number of machines in one field of work.
* Apply corrective repair to resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical, or PLC related issues.Assure compliance with appropriate Environmental, Health and Safety practicesGives support in product and process renewal. Advises and coaches coworkers. Create and/orImprove documentation related to maintenance procedures.
* Direct and coordinate duties for contractors
* Provide day-to-day tasks in support of Manufacturing Engineer or Manager.Troubleshoot technical issues to determine root cause of malfunction.
You're the right fit if:
* High school or 9th-grade diploma required; technical studies in maintenance, electromechanics, electronics, or related fields are desirable, or an equivalent combination of job experience.
* Electronics, electromechanical, or electrical technician training from a technical institution (or equivalent experience) required, with preference for experience in medical-device environments.
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician; basic to intermediate English; proficient computer skills (Word, Excel).
* Desirable knowledge of GDPs, FDA regulations, QSR, ISO 13485, Japan regulations, and ability to perform self-training effectively.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
