Receiving Inspector

Job Description:

Summary:

Responsible for inspecting incoming materials and components to ensure they meet quality standards specifications, and purchase requirements. Performs visual and dimensional inspections, reviews documentation and record inspections results. Identifies nonconforming materials supports containment actions and communicates issues to suppliers and internal teams. Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable quality standards while maintaining accurate inspections records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Perform incoming inspection of raw materials per engineering drawings, specifications and purchase orders

* Verify required documentation such as Certificates of Conformance (CoC), invoice, and traceability records

* Use calibrated measuring equipment

* Identify and document nonconforming materials, initiate nonconformance reports (NCRs) as required

* Support containment actions and segregation of nonconforming product

* Communicate quality issues to suppliers, Supply chain and Quality Engineering teams

* Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions related to supplier or incoming quality issues

* Monitor and report supplier performance metrics

* Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of incoming materials

* Follow ESD, FOD and product handling requirements where applicable

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* High school diploma required, degree student of Industrial Engineer or related careers is a plus

* At least 2 years' experience as Receiving Inspector, or equivalent experience

* Ability to read part specifications and inspection instructions

* Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements

* Clear communication skills (oral and written)

* Ability to keep accurate detailed records

* Ability to consistently follow documented procedures and standards

* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision

* Speaks Spanish, English Knowledge is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

* Able to read documents and computer screens

* Able to move around an office building and upstairs

* Able to sit/stand for long periods of time

* Able to type on a computer keyboard

* Able to communicate through a telephone

* Able to communicate with co-workers

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Pay Range: - per hour

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
