Lazard Frères Banque also provides support functions for all Lazard group entities in France. Thus, Lazard Frères Banque houses the Financial Department, Human Resources Department, Tax Department, Internal Audit Department, Compliance Department, Risk Management Department, IT Department, and General Services.

The bank employs 175 people.

Both Lazard Frères Banque and Lazard Frères Gestion are subsidiaries of CFLF (Compagnie Financière Lazard Frères).

The job context :

Lazard Frères Banque's AM Finance department is divided into 3 main teams : the general accounting team, the regulatory reporting team and the Group and Management reporting team.

We are looking for our new Manager of the Group and Management reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of two persons and an apprentice, and you will be reporting to the Deputy Head of Finance.

Your responsibilities in this position :

With the support of your team, your main missions will be :

* to monitor the US GAAP monthly consolidation process (US GAAP accounting entries, disclosures, tax reporting …)
* to control the P&L (costs / revenues) as part of the monthly close process and answer related questions
* to prepare the Budget / Forecasts (4 yearly processes) per entity and profit / cost centers
* to produce the Management reporting packs (AM reporting packs, statutory and per segment, AUM reporting …)
* to prepare ad'hoc analyses (ex : cost or project related)
* to provide information to the auditors as needed and make sure that the SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls under your responsibility are duly performed

The profile we are looking for :

Finance Master degree (Business school or university). You have a minimum 8 to 10-year experience in Finance, ideally including 3 or 4 seasons as an auditor and an experience as a financial / management controller, with a first experience in management.

You bring a good knowledge of the Asset Management / Banking sector activity and of the US or IFRS GAAP.

You have practical computer skills (Windows pack Office : Excel, Word) ; the knowledge of SAP is a plus.

You have good communication skills. Fluency in English language is necessary given high level of interaction with other Lazard Group offices, notably NY.

You have solid organization skills, a strong commitment on meeting deadlines, and the will to lead and motivate a team.
