ME Business Methods Engineer (d/f/m)

Are you ready to shape the future of digital manufacturing? Join our international Manufacturing Engineering team as a ME Business Methods Engineer (d/f/m). In this role, you will be part of a diverse and dynamic team developing digital work preparation processes, methods and tools across all Airbus plants.
Our primary mission is to deploy harmonized enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for manufacturing engineering to enable industrial excellence and contribute to the company's long-term profitability. Based in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment, you will work closely with transnational partners across Hamburg, Toulouse and Nantes, while networking with our global engineering footprint in Spain, the UK and India.

Your location

You will be working in one of the main sites of Airbus Commercial Aircraft (Hamburg, Nantes, Toulouse, Getafe).

Your tasks and responsibilities

* Deploying and maintaining efficient, integrated production solutions for manufacturing engineering.
* Leading project activities within the agile release train (ART) following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
* Managing business acceptance tests and driving continuous feedback loops with end-users.
* Collaborate with transnational partners to harmonize industrial methods across business units.
* Monitoring project financials, including actuals and budget transfers, while ensuring updated documentation.
* Supporting the continuous development of digital work preparation processes.

This role will involve frequent travel for business, and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Desired skills and qualifications

* Educated to a degree level in engineering, business administration or a related discipline.
* Strong knowledge of SAP manufacturing engineering toolsets (SAP, ARP, S4-HANA) transactions and work preparation processes.
* Solid experience in agile project management, with a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification considered a plus.
* Proficiency in configuration management principles and the 3D/product lifecycle management (PLM) landscape.
* Strong communication skills with a natural ability to collaborate effectively within transnational and diverse teams.
* Negotiation level in English is mandatory; intermediate or advanced knowledge of French or German is a plus.
