Job Description:

Berlin, Germany biotech electronics Machine Learning

Hiring a Werkstudent*in in Berlin.
You will work on a biomodulation project that involves establishing a fast feedback loop to image and modulate vasculature and training RL models on this data.
The scope of the project is understanding how to reverse vascular degeneration in humans; with a focus on reversing cognitive decline and neurodegeneration.
Tl;dr We're trying to reverse aging.
Pay is 2k / month - work schedule is perfectly flexible, the effort is equivalent to a part time job.
Mainly aimed at students, but if you're a genius NEET that got blackpilled on college and dropped out that's also fine.
You need to know how to:
* Solder stuff
* Read the methodology section of a paper (or ask GPT to explain it)
* Use LLM tools to search the internet
* Code with Claude Code or Codex (knowing how to code "by hand" is a + but not required)
* Speak English; German optional but it helps (5/5 ideal, but if you can do 3/5 that's fine, you can apply)
Perks:
* Perfectly flexible working hours (work whenever you want and however much you want; we only care about output - literally).
* We cover transport, equipment, food, etc.
* Connections to a VC environment and a network of founders if you decide to work in the tech startup space afterwards.
* Smart people to advise you. If you need help, you will have a crazy old professor famous enough to have a Wikipedia page in any domain of your choice to act as advisor.
* Option to continue once you are done with your studies (or drop out) at rates much better than any DE corporation would offer (on this project, if it continues, or in one of our other companies).
Our lab is in Buch (Berlin), easily accessible via the S2.
If you're interested, email george@cerebralab.com with something about you (a list of projects, a personal website, a resume… whatever you think best represents you). The email should reflect why you meet the requirements listed above
