Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As a Working Student for Developer Advocacy, you will join our IT Platform team in Munich, working alongside experienced Developer Advocates to help improve the adoption of static analysis tools and improve developer productivity.
* Shape the Developer Experience in Static Analysis: Develop and maintain technical content, such as tutorials, blog posts, and documentation, that showcase the benefits and best practices of integrating static analysis tools like Coverity, SonarQube, Checkmarx and other static analysis tools into development workflows
* Advocate for Code Quality: Collaborate with developer teams to promote the use of static analysis tools, provide guidance on tool configuration and optimization, and gather feedback to inform future tooling and process improvements
* Stay Ahead of the Curve: Expand your expertise in static code analysis, DevOps practices, and technical communication by working with senior advocates and engineers, and exploring new tools and technologies that can enhance developer productivity and code quality
* Foster Community Engagement: Collaborate closely with the Developer Advocacy team, IT engineers, and development teams to find solutions, help influence positive change and collaboration with developer teams
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
* Academic Background: Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or a Master's program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical study. Alternatively, if you're studying a different subject but have a strong affinity for coding, software development, and developer ecosystems, we encourage you to apply
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with developer tools such as Git, GitLab, or similar version control systems is a plus. A basic understanding of development practices like CI/CD, containers, or DevOps concepts is also desirable. However, a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential. Experience with static analysis tools, such as Coverity, SonarQube, or Checkmarx, is a definite advantage
* Personal Qualities: You are a proactive communicator, eager to help others and learn new technologies. You enjoy teamwork and find satisfaction in improving developer experiences
* Work Style: You organize your work reliably, can take responsibility for tasks, and are keen to grow your technical and communication skills
* Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; German skills are a plusPlease attach the following documents to your application:

* Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That's why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
* Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree program. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
* You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
