About this role

As Logistics Insights Manager for the Central Delivery Team, you will be responsible for generating data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to improve logistics performance across Germany.
In this role, you will act as an independent analytics and insights partner, enabling better decision-making across Vendor Management, Strategy, Network & Pricing, and Expansion teams. You will not own operational execution or vendor relationships, but your work will directly influence how the logistics system evolves and performs.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Product & Tech, Finance, Customer Service, and Data to ensure high-quality insights, transparency, and continuous improvement across the logistics ecosystem.
This is a high-impact role for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with a strategic mindset and the ability to influence stakeholders.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

Insights & Performance Analysis
* Generate actionable insights on logistics performance (cost, efficiency, service quality)
* Analyze trends, anomalies, and root causes across regions and partners
* Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
* Translate data into clear recommendations for business stakeholders
Data Modeling & Advanced Analytics
* Build and maintain analytical models and deep-dive analyses
* Develop scenario analyses to support strategic decisions
* Support evaluation of new initiatives and operational changes
* Drive continuous improvement of analytical methodologies
Reporting & Data Transparency
* Own and improve dashboards and reporting for logistics KPIs
* Ensure data consistency and a single source of truth across teams
* Support leadership with regular reporting and performance narratives
* Drive automation and scalability of reporting processes
Cross-Functional Business Partnering
* Act as trusted insights partner for Logistics, Product & Tech, Finance, and Operations teams
* Support Vendor Management with data-driven decision-making (without owning execution)
* Collaborate with Strategy & CoE teams on network and pricing insights
* Align with Central Data teams to improve data quality and availability

What will you bring to the table?

* Strong professional experience of 3-5 years in analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven roles
* Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
* Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL and BI tools required (Python is a plus)
* Experience working with KPIs, performance metrics, and large datasets
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to influence decisions without direct ownership
* Structured, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset
* Experience in fast-paced environments such as delivery, e-commerce, logistics, or mobility
* Strong interest in operations, logistics, and performance optimization
* Fluent in German and English
