Project Manager Supply Chain Management (f/m/x) - limited duration for 3 years

Job Description:

Your Role

* You will lead sourcing projects within the defined procurement scope and act as the key interface between the product development project and external suppliers in your role as Project Manager.
* You will be responsible for planning, controlling, monitoring and reporting within complex coating projects, and you will manage the supplier interface for these projects at ZEISS SMT.
* You will coordinate work packages, facilitate collaboration and track tasks and milestones between suppliers and ZEISS SMT to ensure reliable delivery for the respective product / system.
* You will identify and plan project-specific development needs on the supplier side and align these supplier development needs within the wider team / business unit.
* You will provide functional leadership for cross-functional teams at the interface to external partners for one or more procurement projects, working closely with colleagues from R&D, Quality, Logistics and Strategic / Operational Purchasing.
* You will establish systematic stakeholder management for internal and external stakeholders and coordinate its operational implementation.

Your Profile

* You have successfully completed a university degree in a technical or natural science discipline, ideally in Surface Engineering / Coating Technology, or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Surface Engineering / Coating Technology, and you have already gained solid professional experience.
* You bring extensive project management experience, ideally in complex procurement or sourcing projects and in close cooperation with suppliers.
* You work in a methodical and structured way and are driven to continuously and rapidly improve work processes.
* You have strong communication and influencing skills and are willing to travel nationally and internationally.
* You have business-fluent German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
