Responsibilities
Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while delivering the required quality standards. The role focuses on improving yield, reducing waste, increasing line efficiency, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze production data to improve true efficiency, throughput, yield, and product quality.
* Identify and eliminate process losses, waste, and bottlenecks.
* Lead root cause analysis for quality, food safety, and operational issues.
* Support startup, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and process changes.
* Develop and maintain process standards, SOPs, and operating parameters.
* Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance teams.
* Monitor critical process parameters such as equipment performance, raw material efficiency, and packaging integrity.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, and company standards.
* Train operators and frontline leaders on process controls and best practices.

Qualifications
Requirements
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience
* 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred).
* Experience in FMCG manufacturing is highly preferrable.
Technical Skills
* Process optimization and statistical analysis.
* Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA).
* Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
* Proficiency in Excel and manufacturing data analysis tools.
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
* Experience with AI tools (Claude preferred).
