In this dynamic environment, we are looking for Procurement Excellence Associates to join our team in Athens.
Make a real impact
* Perform end-to-end procurement processes focusing on Source-to-Contract for highly paced and complex organizations
* Ensure efficient monitoring and optimization of end-to-end procurement processes through automations, operational improvements and decreased lead times
* Manage the receipt of purchasing requests, the conduction of tenders, the performance of negotiations and the execution of all relevant activities mainly for technical equipment/services/projects of industrial operations
* Participate in relevant project management activities as member of a diverse procurement consulting team
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications
* Evaluate and select appropriate and cost-efficient suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships
* Understand the relevant product and service categories and conduct market research for potential suppliers - focusing mainly on technical equipment/services/projects - to meet the team's goals
* Assist to the development, update and implementation of procurement operational strategies
What you bring matters
* Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign university, preferably with Engineering background
* Two (1) to five (4) years of working experience in the fields of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Engineering, Purchasing, Category Management, Contract Management, Procurement Consulting, Tendering or Tenders Management
* Previous experience in Procurement of technical equipment or services for industrial operations will be considered as a plus
* Previous experience in the energy, utilities and/or manufacturing industries and/or related to public tenders will be highly appreciated
* Familiarization with Source-to-Contract and Purchase-to-Pay processes
* Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with various departments/ clients/ suppliers
* Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
* SAP experience will be considered as an asset
