* Provide infrastructure-level support for IBM DB2 environments (LUW).
* Plan, design, and execute DB2 migration and upgrade activities across versions and platforms.
* Assess and validate compatibility, dependencies, and risks for DB2 upgrade projects.
* Collaborate with architecture, application, and system engineering teams to ensure smooth transitions with minimal downtime.
* Implement DB2 patches, and security updates in alignment with vendor recommendations and customer standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure-related DB2 issues in development, test, and production environments.
* Support performance tuning, capacity planning, and storage optimization during migrations.
* Automate routine DB2 administrative and upgrade tasks using scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible, etc.).
* Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies, backup/recovery standards, and audit requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven hands-on experience in DB2 migrations, version upgrades, and platform transitions.
* Strong understanding of DB2 infrastructure components: storage, memory management, logging, HADR, clustering, and replication.
* Experience with DB2 fix packs, patches, and OS compatibility considerations.
* Cross-platform database expertise in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle is a plus.
* Solid knowledge of backup & recovery strategies.
* Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for complex DB2 infrastructure issues.
* Ability to work in a multi-customer, multi-platform environment with global delivery models
