The Billing and Data Management Specialist is responsible for the comprehensive review and validation of electricity and gas bills, the analysis of billing and accounting-related data, and ongoing collaboration with customers, energy providers and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Verifying the accuracy of electricity and gas bills from technical, formal and accounting perspectives
* Analyzing billing data and identifying discrepancies, inconsistencies and errors
* Resolving differences and discrepancies with customers, energy providers and internal stakeholders
* Recording reports, discrepancies and comments in customer systems
* Collecting, verifying and forwarding data on meter readings and energy consumption
* Processing tasks related to energy supply points, including registrations and deregistrations, as well as maintaining master data and meter readings
* Collaborating with customer service representatives, municipal agencies and energy platform administrators
* Preparing reports, analyses and evaluations for customers and internal teams
* Monitoring the proper execution of billing processes and ensuring that assigned tasks are completed on time

* Fluent German and English language skills
* Ability to analyze large volumes of data
* Accuracy, thoroughness, and a strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently
* Very good Excel skills
* Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP or comparable solutions) is a plus
* Strong communication skills when interacting with customers and business partners
