Job Description
The role is responsible for supervising daily operational workflows, with specific accountability for the accurate and timely execution and approval of cash flows. The position ensures adherence to established procedures, effective issue escalation and resolution, and the continuous improvement of processes to support operational efficiency and control.
Responsibilities
* Supervise the completion of daily workflows, ensuring tasks are executed accurately and within required timelines.
* Oversee the execution of cash flow including review and approval of them in accordance with delegated authority matrixm
* Monitor operational activity to identify issues, risks, or exceptions, escalating matters promptly.
* Take ownership of issue resolution where appropriate, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented.
* Ensure all processes are performed in line with documented procedures and internal policies.
* Maintain and update procedures to reflect process changes, ensuring documentation remains accurate and current.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation.
* Lead and implement process changes, ensuring changes are effectively communicated, documented, and embedded within the team.
Requirements
* Understanding of global markets and treasury cash flow processes
* Technical skills (proficient in the use of Technology to execute workflow and identify process efficiencies)
* Ability to supervise and coordinate daily operational workflows, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
* Ability to operate within defined control frameworks, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and delegated authority.
* Maintaining, reviewing, and updating operational procedures to reflect current processes and changes.
* Ability to identify errors, exceptions, risks, or control weaknesses within daily operations.
* Ability to determine when issues should be escalated and to whom, in line with escalation protocols.
* Capability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement effective and sustainable solutions where appropriate
* Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly when explaining procedures, issues, or changes.
* Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions
