Sports Live Data Monitor/Content Moderator in Cork, Ireland (Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sports Live Data Monitor/Content Moderator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring our client's Sports App for errors and carrying out research about leagues and players.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the accuracy of both live and static data, promptly fixing issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor Live Sports Data across a wide range of European and American sports, leagues, and teams to ensure the accuracy of both live and static data.
- Track and update statistics in real-time within our sports application.
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate potential issues, following documented workflows.
- Stay updated on recent transactions, games, and statistics across a wide range of leagues

Qualifications:

- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of various sports, leagues, and teams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to monitor, track, and escalate live sports data.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks.
- Native or near-native fluency in the English language.
- Previous experience in sports writing or editing is a plus.

Requirements:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including afternoons/night shifts, weekends as needed.

Position details:

- Location: 100 % onsite at the office in Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland
- Salary: EUR35,000/year
- Contract: 1 year with possibility of extension
- Schedule Availability: Full-time (40 hours per week).

Schedule Availability:
40h/week with 30 min of unpaid lunch break
Tuesday-Saturday shift, starting at 7am and finishing at 3:30pm.
Sunday-Thursday shift, starting at 7am and finishing at 3:30pm.
Shifts will depend on the Client's needs and are not flexible.
However, working later hours could be a possibility. e.g 10:30 am to 7:30 pm.
