The project: It is a generational project providing Dublin and Ireland with a much-needed world class Metro system to support the fast-growing population. The project is an 18.8km fully autonomous Metro system, consisting of 16 stations, 2 significant tunneled section and a number of significant structures along the alignment. The project will integrate existing transportation systems through the city and surrounding areas, including the Dublin airport, Irish Rail and the LUAS. The successful candidate must lead by example and serve as a role model ensuring the highest standards are adopted across the project.
You'll be responsible for:
* Championing safety first, ensuring exceptional safety, quality, compliance and wellbeing across all activities.
* Supporting cost planning, procurement and cost management services to deliver strong client outcomes.
* Upholding ethical, compliant operations while contributing to carbon-reduction goals and positive impact.
* Managing and developing teams, driving best practice, continuous improvement and enhanced cost management processes.
* Managing feasibility, cost planning and procurement activities, producing robust cost plans, reports and contract documentation.
* Delivering effective contract administration, valuations, cost control, reporting and final account agreement.
* Assessing design changes, variations and claims, ensuring commercial compliance and clear client reporting.
* Supporting junior team members, enhance processes, manage stakeholders and contribute to net-zero objectives.
You'll need to have:
* Cost planning and estimating for ideally public-sector capital projects.
* Pre and post contract experience.
* Budget management ideally within public-sector financial controls.
* Contract administration with NEC3/NEC4 experience.
