Job Description:
About the role
The successful candidate will be a key commercial resource for EDRAM in Italy, working closely with financial advisors, private bankers and wealth managers to promote our product range and grow assets under management. This is a hands-on, field-oriented role with frequent travel across Italy to attend client events and conventions.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and manage daily relationships with financial advisors, private bankers and retail distributors to drive sales of EDRAM products.
* Prepare, update and deliver market and product presentations tailored to client needs, ensuring high commercial relevance and compliance with EDRAM materials.
* Plan and attend client events, roadshows and conventions throughout Italy to build brand awareness and support business development.
* Manage the marketing budget allocated to retail distribution according to EDRAM guidelines to maximise brand penetration and support AUM growth.
* Support mid- and lower-tier fund-of-funds and discretionary portfolio managers, and maintain partnerships with insurers that sell investment-linked policies.
* Work closely with product, marketing and compliance teams to ensure consistent messaging and adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
* Track sales pipeline, report results and provide market feedback to inform commercial strategy.
Profile / Requirements
* Mid-level sales professional with proven experience (typically 3-7 years) in fund distribution, wealth management or institutional sales within the Italian market.
* Strong network and experience working with financial advisors, private bankers and retail distributors.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills; client-facing experience essential.
* Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel essential).
* Entrepreneurial mindset, highly results-oriented, proactive and able to work independently in the field.
* Willingness to travel frequently across Italy.
