Job Description:
Individuals in Issue Management are responsible for the coordination and comprehensive management of issues with key stakeholders, such that Citi achieves and maintains compliance and appropriately remediates findings from internal and external reviews as well as self-identified issues. Includes coordinating with key stakeholders to investigate controls gaps or failures, develop corrective action plans, and provide robust challenge enabling the key stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions by addressing root causes and adopting enhanced discipline including consideration of lessons learned for the timely closure of issues.
Responsibilities:
* Good understanding on end-to-end Issue Management
* Support in the end-to-end Issue Management ensuring compliance with Issue Management Policy, Standards and Procedures
* Help Implementing sustainable solutions by addressing root causes
* Participate in leadership meetings to analyze
* documentation and processes to ensure Issue Management points are properly addressed
* Help to identify any critical issues and suggest enhancements
* Assisting in the creation and maintenance of reports for Issue tracking and analysis
* Help to identify risks across the business and organize cross-functional solutions
* Develop senior management reporting
* Facilitates and ensures Issue Management Quality Standards are met for issues documented
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of teams and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
* Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
* Good knowledge in the development and execution for controls.
* Experience in control related functions in the financial industry.
* Experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes.
* Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.
* Understanding of Citi's Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
* Good analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsabilidades:
* Contribuir a la resolución de problemas de negocios cruzados o interfuncionales diseñados para garantizar el cumplimiento comercial de las leyes, reglamentaciones y requisitos de política en todos los niveles de riesgo complejos/clave.

* Gestión de entregables y sesiones entre stakeholders y revisores externos/internos.
* Resolver problemas o transacciones donde se requiera experiencia para interpretar problemas o transacciones contra políticas, pautas o procesos.
* Analizar documentación y procesos para garantizar que se traten correctamente los puntos de control y riesgos, y que estén en conformidad con las Políticas de autoevaluación de control y riesgo.
* Contribuir al flujo de trabajo o cambio y rediseño de procesos.
* Probablemente, estar a cargo de tareas de informes periódicos o administración de procesos.

Responsabilities
In-Business Risk and Control Issues Analyst is responsible for driving the end to end process and life cycle of a business issue including:
* Identification and documentation, root cause analysis, remediation planning, status monitoring, reporting, and closure activities. These activities will be conducted in close partnership with the Business Issue Owners and involved key stakeholders
* Identifying the Business Owner for an issue and engaging key stakeholders as appropriate throughout the issues management process.
* Facilitating the initial and ongoing communication, escalation, and resolution of issues and with deliverables related to internal or external reviewer, through standardized tools.
* Working with stakeholders and reviewers during all cycle of an internal or external review.
* Assessing and recommending issue severity to drive expectations on resolution activities and timeliness.
* Providing insight and support to the Business Issue Owner on remediation approaches, timelines and compensating controls.
* Informing and supporting the Business Issue Owner through the managing of deliverables to ensure issues are resolved and remediated within control limits in the expected timeframes.
* Supporting additional oversight and validation routines required by functions such as Internal Audit and Compliance
* Ensuring that all relevant issues are tracked in appropriate systems of record
* Driving a wide view of the issue to ensure impacts to other lines of business or functions identified
* Local Regulations analysis and their applicability to the business
