What this role is all about

As a Key Account Executive, you will drive new business acquisition and strategic growth across Tier 1 enterprise customers within BFSI, Retail, and Telecommunications. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on hunting, prospecting, and expanding high-value accounts while building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders. You will own the full sales cycle end to end, from pipeline generation and strategic account planning to negotiation, closure, and early customer growth.

What you'll do

* Own new business acquisition and growth across a portfolio of Tier 1 enterprise accounts
* Prospect, qualify, and develop opportunities to build a strong and healthy sales pipeline
* Execute a hunter-led sales strategy focused on new logos and strategic account penetration
* Build account plans and engage C-level, business, and technical stakeholders
* Lead complex sales cycles including discovery, solution positioning, forecasting, negotiations, and contract closure
* Develop value-based proposals aligned with customer business objectives and industry challenges
* Collaborate with Customer Success, Solution Engineering, and Delivery teams to ensure successful onboarding and account expansion
* Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within CRM tools
* Share best practices and support the development of less experienced team members

* Strong experience in enterprise sales, business development, or strategic account management
* Proven success acquiring and expanding Tier 1 enterprise accounts
* Strong hunting, prospecting, and pipeline generation capabilities
* Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
* High level of autonomy, ownership, and commercial decision-making
* Strong executive presence, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Experience within BFSI, Retail, Telecommunications, or similar enterprise industries
