Private Debt Investment Analyst

What you are going to do
As a Portfolio Analyst Private Debt, you support the portfolio management and further development of NN Group's private debt portfolio. You work closely with portfolio managers and stakeholders, contributing to investment decisions, portfolio monitoring, reporting and strategic development.

Your responsibilities
* Support identification and assessment of private debt investment opportunities
* Perform analysis on investments, funds and portfolio exposures
* Contribute to analytical frameworks for investments and portfolio monitoring and reporting
* Contribute to the integration of ESG considerations into private debt investment decisions, monitoring and reporting
* Contribute to the optimization of strategies, mandates and processes
* Support due diligence processes and coordinate internal and external stakeholders
* Assist in preparing investment proposals and approval processes
* Coordinate external asset managers and advisors

You bring:
* Relevant Master's degree (Finance, Economics or similar)
* Strong analytical skills
* 2-5 years of relevant experience

Who you will work with
The NN Investment Office (NNIO) within NN Group is a Shared Service and Centre of Expertise for the Insurance Companies of NN Group with the objective to create and coordinate investment opportunities. Within NNIO, the responsibility for determining/proposing the Private Markets strategy and proper and solid implementation of this strategy is allocated to the NNIO Private Markets team. This is a small and highly skilled team of 9 colleagues accountable for the results, coordinating the investments in real estate, private equity, mortgages, infrastructure equity and private debt. For this team we seek a new colleague to strengthen our capacities in the private debt space. The private debt portfolio ranges from infrastructure debt, corporate debt and commercial real estate debt, within a wide risk spectrum from investment grade to below investment grade, accessed directly or through funds and partnerships.

Location
The official location for this job is The Hague, NN also has an Amsterdam and Rotterdam office which can be used at times. NN works hybrid and very flexible from home and from the office, to fit what the employees feel works best.
