Job Description:
Overview
The Unit Manager PC is part of the Ops Team and is responsible for the planning, direction & coordination of the BOL PC operation. The Unit Manager PC is responsible for achieving the PC production plan on volume & costs. The Unit Manager leads a team of Front Line Managers, Specialists and SPARK Line structure team.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strong people strategy that drives employee engagement, builds frontline capability through PPP, and fosters a high-performance culture focused on KPIs and continuous improvement.
* Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees by delivering safety performance above industry benchmarks through full compliance with PepsiCo's Environmental, Health & Safety requirements (ERP) and all applicable legal regulations.
* Lead the development of a proactive safety culture by driving Risk Centre activities and empowering frontline employees through Safety Action Teams.
* Ensure timely resolution and follow-up of ERP and RMS findings, driving continuous improvement in safety and compliance performance.
* Act as sponsor for all designated Duty Holders, ensuring accountability and effective execution of their responsibilities.
* Deliver production targets across volume, SKU, Distribution Cost, and Manufacturing Overheads, ensuring efficient scheduling and execution to meet business and customer service requirements.
* Drive operational excellence through the implementation and follow-up of efficiency improvement plans, including Top 5 performance initiatives.
* Ensure all production activities consistently meet quality standards, company expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
* Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, reducing Consumer Product Measures while maintaining constant AIB audit readiness.
* Provide strong leadership, coaching, and development for direct reports, building a high-performing and engaged team.
* Serve as a role model for corporate values, behaviours, and standards, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and ownership across the department.
* Act as a key member of both the Operations Leadership Team and the wider Site Management Team, influencing the broader business agenda through collaboration, consistency of approach, and the sharing of best practices.
Qualifications
* Bsc/Master in preferably Business Economics and/or Technical Engineering
* At least 4 yrs experience in Production Management preferably in FMCG
* People management experience
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
* Good analytical skills
