Product Manager Home Entertainment

Location: Hoofddorp, Netherlands or Zaventem, Belgium

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the successful commercial management for your product group. Serving as the central hub and owner of your designated product group, you will collaborate daily with sales, PR, supply chain, online marketing, channel marketing, offline marketing, event teams, senior management, and European counterparts. Together, we aim to achieve targeted results.

Working closely with the sales department and the customer marketing team, you will implement the most effective commercial strategy for assigned products, aligning with the overarching marketing strategy and staying attuned to current trends in the retail and consumer markets.

Working alongside to the Marketing Category Manager, you will take charge of both net sales and marginal profit for the assigned products, striving to maximize market share, (sub)brand awareness, and purchase consideration within the Benelux.

You will fulfil a pivotal role to:

* Manage products Net Sales and maximize both sell through
* Optimize Marginal Profit % and Marginal Profit amount with local activities and Pan-European pricing strategy
* Create a yearly budget, be responsible for business plan execution and key model annual forecast, both sell-in and sell-through
* Set up local annual marketing plan to create customer demand and analyze impact category sell-out accordingly.
* Design and coordinate Go-To-Market plans in 360-format with marketing and business plan with each other integrated - coordinate with all various stakeholders for execution.
* Perform the necessary analyses concerning the market, competitors, customer groups, promotional effectiveness and sales performance and use for your business plan
* Determine potential of combined offers with accessories, 3rd party material, services and other new initiatives.
* Develop and agree with sales on channel strategy and distribution for your product category
* Guide, inform and motivate sales teams and chase your monthly Net Sales
* Provide the input to the Marketing Manager/European counterparts for future line-up, new commercial initiatives and cooperation.

You will bring:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Economics or equivalent experience
* Relevant experience as a business analyst, product manager or similar: from a role where data is used to drive forecasting and financial business decisions.
* Experience in driving 360 product launches including on- and offline shopfront execution, together with the local customer marketing and retail marketing teams
* Numerical and logical skills, able to draw accurate conclusions and communicate key messages succinctly.
* Proficiency in MS Excel
* Commercially driven, experience working closely with sales.
* Knowledge of consumer marketing is desirable.
* Proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* You are a team player that integrates with new team members and creates a positive and efficient work environment with team spirit and mutual respect.
* Proficiency in spoken and written Dutch and English.

Your new office

Hoofddorp
Our office is located close to Schiphol Airport and Hoofddorp station in Park20|20. It's a 5 min walk from the train station, it has parking space with charging facilities underneath as well as a bike shed. Our office is one floor, equipped with all modern workplace necessities. A PS5 is available for your moments of fun and relaxing, alternatively you go for a walk in the park!

Brussels:

Our office in Zaventem is designed to connect people with our newly installed bar, gym and breakout room to play darts or PS5. The office is next to the airport/train station (connected with a free shuttle), the bicycle highway to Brussels/Leuven (a true added value for employees that make use of the bicycle leasing program) and of course a parking space with electric chargers. Lunch can be enjoyed in the private restaurant on the ground floor or at the cafeteria area with a Nespresso.
